Overview

The Faculty of Computers and Informatics SCU was founded in 1995 according to Supreme Universities Council decree in its session no. (342). It was founded under the name "the faculty of Information Sciences SCU". That name was later changed to "the faculty of Computers and Informatics SCU" according to the Supreme Universities Council decree no. (343). The faculty started welcoming tech-enthusiasts in April 1997, and the actual academic study started in September 1997. The faculty witnessed the graduation of the first generation in 2001.

The Faculty of Computers and Informatics SCU is committed to graduating individuals of high academic value to satisfy the needs of the marketplace. The faculty also seeks to prepare individuals who are capable of competing under the name of the faculty while committing to the ethical charter of the field.
